Fleets that require these sticker tags are taxis, courier services, leases, and commercial delivery, buses &amp; <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tripjohn.com\/rent-a-car\">car rental companies in Dubai<\/a><\/strong>. The most important is Salik tag which is attached to the vehicle and it uses the latest Radio Frequency Identification technology to provide identification of the vehicle as it passes along the Salik tolling point.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Opening a Salik account now made easy<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Opening a Salik account is a walk in the park as banks like Emirate bank, Dubai bank provides users all the facilities that are required in the process even you can get a Salik tag on your <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tripjohn.com\/rent-a-car\/luxury-car-rental-dubai\">luxury car rental in Dubai<\/a><\/strong> from Petrol Stations.<\/p>\n<p>The application form could be downloaded from Salik website. Also after that, you will obtain your Salik tag that would cost around 100 AED. It would be 50 AED for the tag and 50 for the prepaid toll balance added to Salik account. Then stick your Salik tag carefully on your windscreen as per the instruction. You will get the access pin account number on your mobile phone for use of online access.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Salik Account on the Go<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong>Managing Salik Account by online access you first need to setup your username and a unique password. By receiving the details of your account online, you can view your toll trips, Salik account balance, manage your personal profile, manage your personal vehicle, recharge your account online and also check for any violations received.<\/p>\n<p>There are different methods of payment of your Salik account. Salik recharge card is an easy and simple way for making the transaction. Or you would use phone Salik method that\u2019s by calling on a toll-free number that\u2019s 800-SALIK (72545).<\/p>\n<p>Another method is by online recharge option, by entering the 12 digit number on the back of your recharge card in the screen provided and click send. Then your account balance will be displayed on the screen along with receipt number.<\/p>\n<p>Credit cards or E pay payment gateway allows the customer to recharge their Salik account using their credit cards. Epay is the payment gateway developed by the Dubai government for the individuals and business.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Keep your Salik account safe &amp; fine free <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Keep the relevant authorities informed whenever you change your number plate or sell your vehicle or else you may be charged with a violation. Also if you don\u2019t keep sufficient balance in your account and fail to recharge your Salik account in 5 days, you will have to pay fine. You will have to pay additional fine, if you pass through a Salik toll gate without a Salik tag on your vehicle. A fine of 100 AED for the first day time and 200 AED second time and 400 AED for every time your vehicle passes through the gate.
